Renee Easterwood earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and brings a wealth of experience from her work in education, nonprofits, and hospice. She is passionate about supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges, helping them trust themselves, draw on their existing strengths, and cultivate a sense of confidence and self-compassion.
Renee believes that every individual has resilience and wisdom within them, even when it feels difficult to access. Her approach is client-centered and collaborative, focusing on creating a safe and affirming space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their personal growth. She integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs, always prioritizing warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for their journey.
Outside of work, Renee prioritizes cultivating joy and balance in her life through activities that keep her grounded and connected. She enjoys spending time with her family, cuddling with her dog, drinking tea, hiking and camping, roller skating, reading, and watching her favorite shows.
